    Summary:
As per the idea of Termini, Azamathulla&Cantalice (2019), knowledge of environment and socioeconomic impact of climate change is indispensable in order to understand and to protect the UAE society from different hazards. Different environmental issues that concerned society presently faces encompasses around degradation of soil. This in turn, requires a wide variety of techniques. For instance, use of vegetation and green roof building for preventing soil erosion in urban areas and avoiding soil erosion in river banks are likely to enable the UAE Government in protecting the environment to some extent. Organic and inorganic materials that are present in the water bodies are also responsible for the soil erosion. Here experts believes that the use of organic substances like montmorillonite, which acts as a green solution, will help in building a barrier to prevent soil erosion to the maximum extent. As per the experts, use of polymers and biopolymers that are being used as additives can result in soil degradation and erosion.
    Original Paraphrase
“In particular, the first technique consists in using vegetation for soil erosion protection and rivers’ bank stabilization in extraurban areas” (Termini, Azamathulla, &Cantalice, 2019: para 5) The use of vegetation as a method to prevent soil erosion and river bank stabilization are being adopted by UAE.
“the second technique consists in using vegetation for green roofs or walls added to buildings in urban areas.” (Termini, Azamathulla, &Cantalice, 2019: para 5) Green roof building helps in preventing soil erosion and prevents river bank sedimentation.

Summary:
According to Kulin & Johansson Sevä (2019), it is the foremost responsibility of a government to protect the environment. However, the extent to which environment can be protected or safeguard is dependent on the type of existing government. This article therefore, considered the fact that many studies indicated that environmental issues that involves climate change has turned into a burning political topic in the western countries. The political ideology has changed the theme of environmental changes. People mostly support different schemes and policy introduced by the government like taxation, public spending, and they also support policies on the issue of environment. The government is trying to implement some of the effective policy in relation to environmental issues with keeping in mind all the ideologies of politics. Actions taken by the government are therefore, required to be impartial, free from corruption, and also effective when environmental issues are taken into consideration. Experts believe that it is not the sole work of government as the people of UAE are also required to focus on different parameters of environmental issues.
Original Paraphrase
“Public support for environmental policies should ultimately depend on the extent to which citizens think that, as a general principle, it ought to be the government’s responsibility to protect the environment.” (Kulin & Johansson Sevä, 2019: para 2) Public supporting environmental policies depends upon the general principle with which, it has become the responsibility of the government to protect the environment.
“In this study, we use cross-national data to investigate the relationship between normative views on government responsibility to protect the environment and support for increasing government spending on the environment.” (Kulin & Johansson Sevä, 2019: para 3) The study shows the government’s responsibility in the field of environment in order to protect the environment and the amount spent for the different environmental policies.

Summary:
In the viewpoint Alamet al. (2017), UAE government has taken many steps for improving the environmental condition by creating green spaces throughout the country that includes afforestation and plantation in the urban sector of the country. The growing population has resulted in the extinction of many plants and animals, which in result helped in the erosion of the plant biodiversity. Government has tried its best to protect the endangered species and plants that are present in UAE. The steps that are being taken by the UAE government arethat they have planted some of the exotic species of plant for establishing artificial greenery. The very purpose of planting these exotic plants is that they will help to increase the flora and will also produce greener environment in the drought prone areas. As per the expert opinion UAE has also limited its fresh water resources for maintaining the groundwater level in the country. The main source of water is from the underground, so an excess use of groundwater can result in the scarcity of water. UAE government has also focused on water salinity, sustainable landscape, and micro climate modification.
Original Paraphrase
“During the last three decades the excess pumping of groundwater for irrigation has decreased the groundwater flow by one tenth.” (Alamet al. 2017: para 5) There was a decrease in the groundwater level because of the excess use of it through pumping during irrigation process
“The purpose of planting exotic species is to increase the vegetation area and produce more aesthetic and green environment in marginal lands such as those with salinity or very drought prone areas.” (Alamet al. 2017: para 4) Purpose of planting these exotic plants is to increase the vegetation in the drought prone area.

Summary:
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) has tried to take some of the green initiatives that are totally related with the environmental protection and future actions of people that may help in reducing issues related with the environment. They focus on their business as well as the environment, its diversity, addition and some preservations methods for the problem because of the environmental changes that is ongoing (Oxtoby, 2019). CSR is trying to boost its relationship with its clients, staff, vendors, and also others in order to work with the trusted people and with the world promoting a better nation with lesser environmental hazards. The green initiative of CSR has contributed a lot in the natural climate with support from companies from different sectors. The Universal Group Holding that mainly supplies mechanical and electrical services is solely responsible for planting mangrove seedlings in the Saadiyat Lagoon district of UAE. They have also taken different initiatives on the ecosystem that supports natural environment.
Original Paraphrase
“At Universal Group Holding, which provides electrical and mechanical engineering services, green-fingered staff are responsible for the planting of mangrove seedlings in Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat Lagoon District, an initiative that supports a vital ecosystem, underpinning the health of the local natural environment.” (Oxtoby, 2019: para 17) Universal Group Holding has planted mangrove seedlings in order to support the ecosystem.
“To help fuel the movement, the ministry has positioned itself as a conduit to connect uninitiated firms with ventures that fulfil CSR remits, ranging from renewable energy schemes to marine conservation projects.” (Oxtoby, 2019: para 7) UAE Ministry has taken the initiative to connect entrepreneur ventures with CSR. And for this, renewable energy sources are used for projects requiring conservation of marine life.

Summary:
It has been analysed that it is inevitable for the UAE Government and the residents to protect the environment. The Government of UAE has aimed at creating awareness regarding environment. And in order to support this, this government has started developing the societal culture in such a way that would enable every citizen to conserve and manage natural resources. A number of Environmental Awareness Campaigns have been adopted by the government, with which relevant education are shared with common people. The Ministry of Education has moreover, took part in this social cause and successfully incorporate environmental dimensions in school curriculum. This country also celebrates “UAE Environmental Day” in accordance with the resolution no. 107/3 (Government.ae, 2019).
Original Paraphrase
“In recent years, environmental education has become one of the salient elements in curriculum development in the United Arab Emirates. Accordingly, efforts have been directed to include environmental content in school curricula and textbooks.” (Government.ae, 2019: para 28) Several government and non-government organisations in UAE have taken the initiative to retain the usefulness of nature and accordingly included salient environmental protection elements in the existing education system.
“As part of the involvement of global stakeholders in the wheel of promoting environmental knowledge, the Eco-Schools Initiative was launched. It is a global initiative led by the Emirates Wildlife Society in collaboration with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), aiming to encourage environmental action in schools.” (Government.ae, 2019: para 30) The UAE Government launched “Eco-Schools Initiative” with an aim to promote environmental-related knowledge amongst school-going children. This initiative by Emirates Wildlife Society successfully achieved global recognition, in collaboration with the World Wide Fund for Nature.
